Sama Juma, M.A. is a Licensed Resident Counselor in Virginia, with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

With direct honesty and deep care, Sama collaborates with her clients to develop goals and coping skills unique to who they are and within the bounds of their lifestyles and identities. Many of her clients identify as BIPOC or Muslim and are navigating layered cultural, spiritual, or family expectations. Sama is passionate about supporting clients who are unpacking intergenerational trauma or beginning to question long-held beliefs and dysfunctional patterns.
